Next Generation Poets Gala London event

The Next Generation Poets promotion has been running throughout the UK in 2004 and will carry on into 2005.  Celebrating the work of 20 of the most exhilarating voices of the last ten years, it will culminate in a gala London event on 28 November, which provides a one-off opportunity to hear some of the most interesting new voices of the last 10 years.

28th November: UCL Bloomsbury Theatre, London – Double Gala Event featuring all twenty (tbc) Next Generation Poets to be chaired by Poet Laureate and Chair of the Judges, Andrew MotionEnglish poet, novelist and biographer; Poet Laureate of United Kingdom from 1999 to 2009; during his laureateship founded the Poetry Archive, an online resource of poems and audio recordings of poets reading their own work
6.00pm UCL Bloomsbury Theatre, Gordon Street, London WC1H 0AH
Tickets £15, £10 concessions (including a complimentary glass of wine), £25, £20 concessions with ticket for buffet supper during the one-hour interval.
