Mill's & Boon's second New Voices competition opened on 13 September. You must submit a first chapter to a Mills & Boon romance by 10 October, after which the 20 longlisted authors each write a further chapter. Votes from a panel and from the public will select a final four, whose task will be to write their "pivotal moments". The winner, whose prize will be publication in an M&B anthology and access to an editor for a year, will be announced on 4 November.

The first New Voices competition attracted more than 800 entries.
