The Award is looking for playwrights aged 18-30 who are not, nor have ever been, professionally represented. Qualifying plays must be over 60 minutes running time.
Prize: 
£5,000 commission to write a play for new writing company Paines Plough, and representation from the The Rod Hall Agency

This is presented every two years to an outstanding new playwright. This award is intended to launch a writing career - the winner will receive a £5,000 commission to write a play for new writing company Paines Plough, and representation from the The Rod Hall Agency.
