Hali (@booksonthebedside; 34,800 followers) agreed: "I notice a lot of content from self-published authors on TikTok," citing Lloyd Devereux Richards' success after his daughter made a viral video about his debut, Stone Maidens (Thomas & Mercer). Richards recently signed a deal with HQ for the sequel, Maidens of the Cave.
