The Interpreter's House poetry publication has just launched its poetry competition 'Open House 2015' with judge Liz Berry

The winning poems will be featured in Issue 59 of TIH.

Liz Berry was born in the Black Country. She received an Eric Gregory Award in 2009, an Arvon-Jerwood mentorship in 2011 and won the Poetry London competition in 2012. Her pamphlet The Patron Saint of Schoolgirls was published by Tall-Lighthouse in 2010. Her poems have appeared in many magazines and anthologies, been broadcast on BBC radio and recorded for The Poetry ArchiveOnline archive with recordings of over 130 living poets' voices, mostly from the UK; you can listen to excerpts on their wonderful site or go to www.poetrybookshoponline.com to buy hour-long recordings on CD. www.poetryarchive.org. She works as the assistant poetry editor at Ambit magazine. Her debut collection Black Country, published by Chatto in summer 2014, was winner of the Forward Prize for Best First Collection.
