The History Press (THP) is geared for a significant period of excitement and growth. We are publishing into robust global markets, particularly military and general history, exploiting our titles both through distribution partners and selling rights, and looking forward to the 100th anniversary of the First World War.
Our lists attract substantial foreign rights interest, and Rights Manager Anette Fuhrmeister had a busy schedule during Frankfurt this year: "At Frankfurt we meet up with publishers from all over the world. It's so important to have regular face-to-face meetings, and also to make time to meet new customers. Key relationships are in place in most areas, including for our Pitkin titles covering royal events and anniversaries. Our military history titles are licensed into Eastern Europe, and we also do well with our general and specialist titles throughout Europe."
