Entries are now being accepted for the 2008 Cardiff International Poetry Competition.

First prize £5000 for just one poem. Further prizes available are £500 for second place £250 for third and five runners up will receive £50 each.

This truly international competition is accessible to all.

The 2008 Competition will be judged by U A Fanthorpe and Jo Shapcott.

Your poem needs to be no longer than 50 lines, unpublished, is in English and not a translation of another author's work and send it, along with your entry form and payment, to Academi. The poems will be judged anonymously to ensure a fair competition and unbiased result.

It costs £5 for each poem entered.
