April has seen two big book fairs, the Bologna Children's Book FairThe Bologna Children's Book Fair or La fiera del libro per ragazzi is the leading professional fair for children's books in the world. and the London Book Fair.

Bologna was buoyant this year, with demand for rights in good projects strong internationally and the East European and Asian publishers proving keen customers.   Read more

The Friday Project crashes/Borders US for sale
