David Nicholls

Nicholls graduated Bristol University 1988; study at American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. First book 'Starter for Ten', published 2004 later made into film. Follow up 'The Understudy' published 2006. 'One Day', his biggest success, published 2009, UK's bestselling book of 2011 made into a film. A former actor, written screenplays 'Cold Feet', BBC adaptation of Thomas Hardy's 'Tess of the D'Urbervilles', and a forthcoming film version of 'Great Expectations'.
