My impressions of www.writersservices.com – then and now

By Dominae Primus

I first came to know of Writersservices.com around 2003 during my forays online in search of contact information related to publishing houses. The easy navigating style, fast loading pages and the manner in which information was presented made www.writersservices.com a useful and user friendly website for both writers and aspiring writers.

Information on literary agents, the process of application, the pros and cons of having one are spelled out so that authors who access such materials are provided with ample background information before proceeding further.

The numerous routes to publishing are categorised, explained with each option’s advantages and disadvantages listed out. For both the uninitiated and those with exposure to the endeavour, there is an impressive amount of reference material available.

Also there are links to books for sale relating to publishing, authors’ handbooks of references are provided within the pages of the website.

Even though www.writersservices.com provides publishing related support services which is its source of revenue, it is generous with the amount of exhaustive information that it posts on its website for the benefit of authors and visitors to its site. You could say that Writersservices.com is akin to a writers’ magazine minus the subscription fees.

All in all Writerseservices.com is a balance of facts and cross references punctuated with doses of encouragement for aspiring authors who must at certain junctures feel a bit overwhelmed by the complexity of getting their voices heard and the barriers standing between them and their goal.

I wish Writerseservices.com many more years of relevance and service to its regulars and new visitors!
