Free intellectual property advice

If you want to know where you stand when it comes to ownership of your work, a new organization in London called Own It www.own-it.org is now offering intellectual property advice for creative businesses, and they have produced a free DVD called How Not to Get Ripped Off.

The DVD features a presentation by the UK Intellectual Property Office explaining the basics of copyright, trademarks, etc, case-studies of creative practitioners, a Q&A session and printable fact sheets. To access this you just have to register on the site and then you can watch the video online.
