Feast!
Collaborator still wanted.
The table of content compiles into
a handbook to help anybody planning an extraordinary meal.
The practical advice on catering for groups is mixed with historic
references to feasting from prehistory to the present plus anecdotes and
cautionary tales.
Half the writing has been done. The
work remains involves historic research on customs and recipes.
There is also much checking, editing and some experimenting. A
collaborator, or two, is sought to help complete this project which is
already more than 25 years old!

The narrative of feasting runs from pre-history until
today and provides the theme of the book. The book gives detailed
instructions on subjects as diverse as ox roasting and hygiene
regulations.
The final layout will be in the hands of a designer but
their brief would be to allow the short historic pieces on feasting to
be read as a narrative. The legal regulations, practical advice or
recipes would be included to be digested in small bites as separate
articles.
The book would be illustrated with a few of my pictures
and need considerable photographic, line drawing and many illustrations.
