Submission guidelines


For fiction, we require a full synopsis and the first 30-40 pages of the book. For nonfiction, we prefer a short query letter setting out the concept behind the book, the qualifications of the author, and the likely audience.

If you are a writer for film, television, theatre or radio, please also include a current CV, a short synopsis and the opening 10 pages of the script you wish to submit.

If you are a director, please also send a current CV and a DVD showreel of your work.

If you are a writer of fiction, non-fiction or children's books please send a synopsis of no more than one page and the first three chapters.

Please include a stamped self-addressed envelope and appropriate postage if you would like your entire submission returned. Scripts sent without return postage will be recycled.

For book submissions only: you can email your submission in word format (.doc or .docx) only to books@rochellestevens.com, for the attention of Elinor Cooper.

Unsolicited e-mail submissions for anything other than books will be deleted unread.

Submission guidelines:
The Parisian Agency is specializing in translation rights. We represent foreign authors on behalf of literary agencies or publishing houses in France and in some cases in other European countries. We are mainly interested in a collaboration with foreign agencies or publishing companies.

However, we accept to consider the works of self-published authors as far as they are written in English. A query should include a brief author bio, a synopsis of the book, and the opening chapters.

Submission Guidelines: ​The Vellichor Agency is open to submissions of Children’s, Young-Adult, Sci-Fi, and Fantasy novels. We are currently not accepting submissions of picture-books or non-fiction.
