The WritersShowcase

Attracting attention is always difficult for a would-be authors. To help them WritersServices has created the WritersShowcase.

'With 20 to 100 people looking round the site at all hours of day and night, the Showcase is an excellent place to get noticed.' said Charles Jones, the Site Manager who is running the showcase.

'I hope people will use it imaginatively, accepting the praise and criticism, seeking out partners for non-fiction projects as well as market testing and pitching for a publication deal.'

Each entry has a front page which links to the writer’s extract, limited to 10,000 words. Visitors can then leave their comments in the Discussion Forum or approach the writer direct if they have given an email address. Each Showcase entry has a thread to the Discussion Forum so readers can provide feedback.

Writers can put their work on the web to get some peer review, look for a collaborator or look for a publication deal. For a limited time there will be no charge, but a handling fee will be levied next year.
