22 July 2002 WritersBookstallWriters can now access specialist books on topics ranging from marketing your book to writing erotic fiction, from book contracts to writing your autobiography. Many of these titles are difficult to track down even in the largest bookshops. The WritersBookstall, provided by WritersServices, is the latest extension of their services to the writing community. The Bookstall is not just for those who live far from a big bookshop. There is a short description of each title and sometimes a full, independent review of the book. Two clicks then allows browsers to check the assessments on the Amazon site provided by readers who have bought the book. 'It's hard to find the book you're looking for' said Chris Holifield , who selects the books to go in the WritersBookstall. 'We've collected them together with a category index, plus a short write-up. Most are discounted, so the prices are even lower than the retail prices on the site.' WritersServices runs its Bookstall as an associate of Amazon.co.uk, who supply the books. This relationship with Amazon will be extended when the Print on Demand service starts to operate towards the end of the year. Titles published using the WritersPrintshop will be available through Amazon as well as the other major booksellers.
